Ford Aussie Hoops is an nationwide introductory program for children looking to learn the great sport of basketball! The Aussie Hoops beginner program is aimed at children aged 5-10. City of Blacktown Basketball Association has a successful history of running the Ford Aussie Hoops programs by being awarded the largest Ford Aussie Hoops program in Sydney Metro, and second largest in the state for 2021 and 2022.

Program Cost

  • $145.00 for the Term, includes Aussie Hoops starter participant pack.

  • $99.00 for the term. Discounted down from $110.00 thanks to Aussie Hoops Sponsor Cumberland Ford!

Important Information

  • All coaches are accredited and have experience in delivering successful Ford Aussie Hoops programs. All Coaches and Staff over the age of 18 have valid Working with Children Checks.

  • Our Ford Aussie Hoops programs are Active Kids Voucher approved. Meaning you can use your vouchers for these programs!

  • To provide a fun and safe environment that promotes basketball and an active lifestyle to children. The Ford Aussie Hoops program aims to ensure participants learn the basics of basketball to allow them to join the CBBA Local Competition.

FAQ’s

  • Please wear Ford Aussie Hoops singlet.

    Please bring Ford Aussie Hoops Basketball.

    Wear enclosed running shoes.

    Please bring a bottle of water for the participant.

  • The Ford Aussie Hoops beginners program (all programs on this page) are for children with little-to-no experience in basketball. The only enrollment requirement is choosing the correct age group the child should be with.

  • No, only new participants need to purchase the Ford Aussie Hoop pack.

    If your child is a returning participant, they can use the participant pack they have already received.

  • This may be because that particular program has sold out for that term. Please contact us for assistance.

  • Participant packs are shipped to your address that you supplied upon registering. These packs are shipped to you by Basketball Australia, CBBA do not have any involvement in the delivery of the participant packs.

  • That’s no problem at all! We will have some extra basketballs to use, just bring enclosed running shoes and a bottle of water.
